## Entity

LaoZhang API is a technical AI API gateway and routing service operated since 2025 by YingTu Technology Pte. Ltd., a company organized in Singapore. The canonical website is https://www.laozhang.ai. The product brand is LaoZhang API, also written as 老张API in Simplified Chinese.

LaoZhang API is not the official operator of the third-party AI models routed through the service, and it is not affiliated with OpenAI, Google, or xAI. It does not provide a public-facing consumer generative AI product.

The image lineup centers on three families from the vendors' official channels: Google Nano Banana (Gemini image models, per-call pricing that does not change with resolution), OpenAI GPT Image 2.5 (official-forward token billing or per-call VIP and web models), and xAI Grok Imagine 2.0 (billed per returned image). Every model comes from the vendor's official channel; LaoZhang API does not train or substitute models.

The service is designed for server-side products, enterprise systems, internal tools, and automation workflows. It provides a unified API integration layer, model routing, request-level usage records, usage-based billing, operational visibility, and technical integration support.

Supported workload categories may include text, reasoning, coding, image, video, vision, audio, and related AI model tasks. API keys are intended for secure server-side use and must not be exposed in public client code.

## Billing boundary

LaoZhang API is a usage-based technical service. Usage may be calculated by model, endpoint, token, request, media unit, provider cost, or another billing unit shown in the dashboard or documentation. Balances are prepaid: card payments are processed by Stripe, and businesses can pay by bank transfer arranged through support. Each request appears in the console call log with its model, usage, and charge. Current model prices, rate limits, billing units, and credit rules can change; the dashboard and current documentation are the operational sources of truth.

The website does not claim that all API usage is free. Any test credit is for connectivity and development validation and should not be interpreted as a permanent free tier.

## Data-handling boundary

By default, LaoZhang API does not store, view, analyze, cache, sell, or use API prompt or response content for model training or user profiling. API content is transmitted as necessary to process a request and return its result.

LaoZhang API retains necessary service metadata for billing, troubleshooting, rate limiting, security, and abuse prevention. This metadata may include account or key identifiers, timestamps, model and endpoint identifiers, usage amounts, request status, error category, latency, routing information, IP address, and user-agent information where operationally necessary.

API content is transmitted to upstream AI model and infrastructure providers. Those providers may apply their own logging, retention, safety-review, abuse-monitoring, training, opt-out, and data-processing terms. Customers are responsible for reviewing applicable provider terms and for ensuring that they have the rights, notices, consents, and legal basis required to transmit data.
